Overall I see the source as a credible and informational source to use in my paper. It analysis the cost and benefits to opening your own practice and goes over the different options when opening your business. This will help me to create a business plan and know options of where the money can come from and where it will be spent. It also goes over where you can reach out to gain new clients. The article also goes over that business is not taught in medical school so often times doctors don’t the first thing about business. That why this mentorship is important now, because further down the road I will be fully focused on a medical degree. A benefit to owning your own practice is that there’s a greater potential to bring in more revenue. It will be hard though when starting out and bringing in new clientele.

This article looks at historic changes in UV skin exposure. They used data from national cancer registries to compare melanoma incidence rates with estimated skin exposure and found that they rose in parallel. They concluded that public health and educational measures are what ultimately will reverse melanoma incidence trends.  I would consider this source to be very valid. It comes from the Galileo database, and is a scholarly article written by people with the PhDs. Since the authors all have their PhD’s I would consider them experts on the subject. In terms of the medical field, this article would be considered relevant. It doesn't show any bias either, argues the side of UV as well as negative problems associated with UV. I could use this article to look into factors that are affecting skin care and determine if UV is a cause of skin issues. As a dermatologist, I will need to be aware of different skin conditions and what the causes are and potential solutions.
